The Me I See is the Me I'll Be
by Dr. Josh Franklin on February 19th, 2024
Ephesians 6:17 says, “And take…the sword of the Spirit, which is the word [Rhema] of God” This passage tells us that there is a powerful weapon that we are to take up like a sword to help us live in victory as Christians. That weapon is called the spoken “word” of God. This literally reads the “Rhema” of God, or a specific “word” from the general “word”. It could be referred to as the “spoken Word of God.” Romans 10:17 says that “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word [Rhema] of God.”  Read More

Living Fearlessly
by Dr. Josh Franklin on February 19th, 2024
This Psalm holds a special place in my heart as well, mainly because of the last verse, which states, "With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation." So, Americans should still listen to Peter about how to live in a hostile country.  Read More

The Power of Pacesetters
by Dr. Josh Franklin on January 11th, 2024
Eliud Kipchoge, is a Olympian marathon runner, who broke the record, at just under 2 hours! He set his goal and knew he needed to go at a certain pace in order to accomplish that goal. He cycles through a group of pacesetters, with a few other runners with him at the beginning, middle and end of the race. They help him stay on pace. He doesn't go too fast that he wears out later. He doesn't go too slow. However, toward the end of the race, the final group of pacesetters back off and let him go through the finish line alone, to the cheers of the crowd. You can go on YouTube to watch it yourself here.  Read More
